Welcome from Head Students
Hello and welcome to Knutsford Academy's Sixth Form! 
Firstly, we would like to thank you for choosing us for your next step in education. We are incredibly proud of our sixth form and, as the current head students, we have the honor of representing our school and being a voice for the student body, with the aim of inspiring change and promoting positivity.
The multitude of course options including traditional a-levels, vocational level 3 BTECs and our award-winning football academy means there is something to suit every style of learning. Regardless of your options, our sixth form offers consistently high-quality teaching with supportive, engaging and compassionate staff. We offer a range of extracurricular activities including sport, our annual school production, volunteering abroad, helping the local community and the Duke of Edinburgh. These opportunities are incredibly beneficial in developing key skills such as teamwork, confidence and resilience which provides valuable experience for the real-world, UCAS applications and future job prospects.
One of the main aims of our school is to provide us with the best skills and opportunities to prepare us for life post-18. If you are thinking of attending university, you will receive uniquely tailored support with writing personal statements. There is also a range of guidance available if you think university is not for you, such as information from professional organizations and work experience if you are interested in apprenticeships.
As the student council, we offer a voice for all students, which has led to the development of our sixth-form area. Our common room has a modern, professional design and our study areas are equipped with brand-new computers and large working areas.
On a more personal note, we chose Knutsford Academy for the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, which is similar to a college allowing for independent learning, but within a school environment which ensures academic excellence.
Knutsford Academy will continue to support us as we begin our next steps, and we will always look back on our time here with joy and gratitude.
